Then Tirupathi Temple is also known as Venkateswara Temple. It is a landmark near Mettupalayam on the sirumugai Road. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Perumal. Venkateswara, an avatar of Vishnu is the presiding deity of the Tirupathi temple. It is the richest temple for donations and wealth.

TRIP WE PROVIDE

The total distance covered from Coimbatore to then Tirupathi is 34.3 kms of 57 mins. It is through NH 181.The cost includes of Cab Rent, Fuel & Driver Allowance. Parking & Toll charges is extra. If any deviation in the dropping route, it will be charged extra. AC will not work in stopped / parked vehicle. People can choose the cars according to their own comfortable and also the total no. of persons for the trip. Cars like Indica, Indigo Zest, Verito, Swift Dzire, Toyoto, Mahindra XYLO, Tavera etc.

DEITIES IN THE TEMPLE

Venkateswara, an avatar of Vishnu is the presiding deity of the temple. It is believed that the Moolavirat is Swayambhu.

WORSHIP

The temple follows “Vaikhanasa Agama” tradition of worship. Rituals are classified as daily, weekly and periodical.

  • Abhishekam & Nijapada Darshanam on Friday at 10.30 am
  • Paalabishekam- bathing the lord with milk is performed on each New Moon Day.

There is no weekly sevas on Saturday and Sunday.

DARSHAN & PRAYER

Lord Venkateswara, while on special occasions and festivals, like the annual Brahmotsavams, the number of pilgrims visiting the temple. People pray for prosperity and wealth.

THANKS GIVING

They perform milk abishek to lord and also donate cows to the temple.

FESTIVALS

Brahmmotsavam in Masi, Ramanuja, Jayanthi, Vaikunda Ekadai, and Navarathi are the festivals grandly celebrated in the temple.

SONGS AND HYMNS

Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatam is the first and pre-dawn seva performed to Lord Venkateswara at Sayana Mandapam inside sanctum sanctorum of Tirumala Temple

OPENING TIMING

The temple is open from 5.30 am to 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

SHRINES

There are shrines for Santhanakrishna, Paravasudeva and Nagar. The idols of venugopala, Rama and gopikas are very beautiful.
